Recently, Accelink was ranked 79th in the first list of "China's Top 500 ESG Excellent Enterprises," released by ESG Rating Center on finance.sina.com in cooperation with CCTV-1 Great Brands.
ESG (Environment, Social and Governance) is an investment concept that focuses on enterprise's environment, social, and governance performance. The ESG report is a channel for enterprises to regularly disclose the environmental, social, and governance impact on their enterprise to investors and other stakeholders. The ESG report is essential for the development of public companies. At present, ESG is recommended to be disclosed in China's capital market, and many institutional investors implement investment strategies based on whether the company has disclosed its ESG report and the ESG evaluation system. Accordingly, since 2020, Accelink has set up an ESG report preparation project team, which involves personnel from multiple departments, and comprehensively collects and sorts relevant materials based on the Guidelines for Information Disclosure of Corporate Environment, Social Responsibility and Corporate Governance of Public Companies in Shenzhen Stock Exchange (Exposure Draft) and GRI Standards, to ensure the smooth preparation of the ESG report.
Relying on the powerful ESG rating database, finance.sina.com conducted a comprehensive ESG evaluation of China's A shares, Hong Kong stocks, US stocks, and exceptional unlisted enterprises. Through a systematic analysis of the rating systems of multiple itative institutions, finance.sina.com evaluated 450 specific indicators covering 50 key topics under the environment, social, and governance dimensions. The indicators comprehensively cover environmental data such as corporate carbon emission, resource utilization and waste disposal, social responsibility data such as employee training and development, supply chain management, anti-corruption and public welfare donation, as well as corporate governance data such as Board of Directors, compensation system, business ethics, and tax transparency. Finally, ESG rating data from 6 Chinese and international rating agencies and relevant data released by multiple think tanks were selected as data sources, and comprehensive scoring was conducted through data standardization, weight redistribution, and other processes.
In future, Accelink will continue comprehensively prepare its ESG report, push all departments to gain an in-depth understanding of the significance of ESG management, and create more social and economic value under the propositions of environmental protection, climate governance, social responsibility, and common prosperity.
